Broken links in your site become harder to manage as your site get bigger. Beyond has an elegant solution to this by reporting broken links to you as they happen.

Rather than periodically scanning the site and testing all links, we take a different approach. If a visitor clicks a broken link, they are presented with a friendly error message rather than a broken page or an Error 404 page.

The workflow then creates an email to system admins that details the broken link occurrence, when it happened, what page was being linked to, and importantly, where the attempted link was coming from. This way you instantly know where to go to fix the broken link. Even if the link was coming from an outside source such as a search engine or a referring web site, the details will be reported to you.
